Evaluation Question 3- What have you learned from your audience feedback?
What have learnt from your audience feedback?
when conducting audience feedback i decided to do it through a series of questionnaires and interviews.I conducted about 45 questionnaires and then 5 interviews. when conducting the interviews i just wrote down the feedback and then i collected the Questionnaires and collated the data to be able to feet a good understanding of how effective my products were.

when I asked people to describe my brand image these are the replies I got:
Hopeful, Inspiring, positive, innocent, soft and peaceful.
this was positive feedback as i felt that these were just the kind of words i was looking for and also 80% of people i asked said they felt that my products all worked well together to create a clear and universal brand image.
What age group do you think these media products are aimed at?
A big part of my genre is that it try's to be as inclusive as possible i feel that i have tried to achieve that and have to some extent as 15 people said they felt these products were aimed at all ages. with that i do realise that i featured young people in my video so i understand why 20 people said that they felt it was aimed at under 25's as my artist was young and also my actress was younger too.
when sitting down and interviewing people i asked them for their genuine opinion and what they felt needed improvement. a few of the people i interviewed highlighted the fact that the artist was young and they wouldn't have expected that from the worship music genre and that it was "pleasantly refreshing".
when conducting my interviews i asked what people felt didn't fit or looked out of place, i made sure that i asked a range of people, from those who were really familiar with worship music to those who had never experienced it before. one thing that was highlighted was the narrative shots some people said they felt they were 'un necessary' or 'random' and at the same time some people also said there were not enough narrative shots. i understand how these conflicting opinions came around as generically in a standard music video there are more narrative shots so i did not meet all expectations but at the same time within a music video involving narrative shots can sometimes limit the meaning if the song and that is the last thing that worship music is about. unlike pop songs that are commonly about love or money or death, worship music can be about anything and everything and its important not to limit that.
throughout the project i received many types of feedback from teachers and other students. I would often sit down with my teacher and discuss areas of improvement and one of the major areas i was pushed to improve my music video was the narrative shops initially i was not going to include any and my teacher encouraged me to reconsider and we came to the conclusion to not include as many narrative shots but to still include some. Also after editing together a rough cut of my music video i had a few of my peers take a look, their comments were insightful and useful when helping me to develop my music video and making it clear.

magazine advert
Magazine Advert
i first selected the strongest original image that established the brand. it was important that the advert dint have any specific person on that is why although it is alice who is in the music video she has her back to the camera.
i then made the title clear and striking while also using the font that was used on the digi pack which again re-enforced the brand as well as creating some kind of unity across all production.
next i introduced the production company, in this case its the church that wrote this album. i also introduced a modern form of downloading the music 'available on i tunes' is a recognisable and familiar platform where many people will be able to obtain this music.
following that i then added two pices of text that give an opinion or a recognisable song that people may recognise thus more inclined to buy the music. the quote i used supposedly came from Matt Redman a well known worship leader within the Christian community.
i then added a jpeg of the cover of the digi pack allowing people to recognise the cover art if they see it establishing a brand image.
i chose to illuminate the edges to make it clear and eye catching.
finally i added a release date for the digi pack
overall i decided to leave the right side of the advert clear of text or any images as it creates a clear brand image.

examples of a magazine advert
there are clear elements of a magazine ad that are conventional across the board.
- for example the clear image of the artist
- the artists name is clear
- highlights a popular well known song
- can often include quotes from notable people in the industry or music magazines
