filming evaluation 4 (stills)

while filming on the 14th i also managed to get some still images to use for the cover art.

these shots are very symbolic of faith and finding light in the darkness.

i love these two shots (above and below)  from behind and i think they would be perfect for the back of the album art. with the song list on the right hand side.

filming evaluation 3

I  rescheduled shooting to tuesday the 9th but there was unexpected work happening in the church where i was planning to film, making it completely impossibly and very inconvenient.

I am now panning to re shoot on the 14th of dec and i have confirmed that my location will be free of any unexpected work.

when it came to re shooting agin on the 7th of december again the weather was an issue causing me not to be able to film. i then decided to re schedule and try and shoot agin soon I'm planning to re shoot on the 9th of dec.

lip sync tutorial

when editing a music video it is key that the lip syncing looks professional and is perfectly timed with the performance. to get it right I practiced putting down markers and syncing them with performance shots.

lyric development

MY SHEPHERD

When storms rage round me, God surrounds me
My Shepherd leads me on
And when I’m needy, He is with me
He restores my soul

You pursue me with goodness and love
By restful waters I am restored

When I wander through the darkness
My Shepherd comforts me
His house will be my home forever
He calls me His own

You are my Shepherd, You’re always with me
My guide and my strength, you’re all I need
You are my Shepherd, You’re always with me
My guide and my strength, you’re all I need

I have gone through and selected the key words i feel are important

Filming Evaluation 1

How Did Filming Go

filming went really well i did com across some difficulties. the main challenges i faced were the weather. unfortunately the weather was horrible on the day i wanted do go out and film meaning i had to sacrifice certain shots. for example due to the cloud cover the sun was not visible meaning that the shots of the sun were impossible to get. i did however still shoot time laps shots despite the terrible weather.

i am planning to re shoot and to get additional shots as i feel i really don't have enough.

inspiration for artist image and branding

when styling my artist i looked to things like these for inspiration.

I wanted my artist to look comfortable and relatable so this laid back relaxed style worked perfectly. I also wanted quite an innocent look with her makeup quite natural and fresh.

casting

casting

as my artist i am using my friend Alice Dryden. she is confident whilst performing and knows the song well!

other members of the cast will be 'extras'

to play the 'stressed out teen' i have my friend India Oxley.

all other characters are people seen in establishing shots within London.

location + Risks

a local bench where i can use the plaque to symbolise losing someone dear to you
the busy road could be a risk.

i will also use my church as a location as it is free and easy access
possible risks could be the road as it can be very busy but other than that there is no immediate risk.

I will also be heading into central London to film establishing shots
possible risks i could encounter could be the busyness and the traveling of equipment.

in order to avoid any of these risks i will make sure i film in the day time near roads and make sure i am sensible with equipment and cast members.
